This is a classic 14.1 Continuous Straight Pool Match between Irving Crane and Joe Balsis. The match took place in 1966. It was played in the Grand Ball Room at the Sherman House in Chicago, Illinois. This was "Finals of the 1st U.S. Open Pocket Billiards Championship" and was sanctioned by the Billiard Congress of America (BCA).
One of the intersting aspects of the match is how Irving Crane intentionally fouls twice and gives up the only two points he has achieved in order to gain a favorable strategic advantage. He will then utilize that advantage to run 150 and out!
